Ok, after another 2 trips to Autozone and one stop at OReilly I finally got the right thermostat. By the way, both Autozone and OReilly's thermostats are made by Motorad, only the boxes change. After that was done I had to use a pipe wrench to hold the driver side core support bushing so I could loosen the nut enough to get the bolt to drop enough to slide the new core support on for a test fit. My Dad helped.

Passenger side:
As you can see the passenger side is gonna need to be straightened. I can give it a try but I really dont want to mess it up since the core supprt has to be welded in. I have a guy that works at a body shop lookin for a weekend job to make some extra cash . I'm gonna ask him to come take a look and give me a quote for the work that includes the paint job. That way all the gaps will be even and the front end will be straight. I was hoping I could just slap it all together like the Bronco.
