Lack of finances forced me to let the truck sit for over a year. Luckily I have some awesome friends! Right away Leo gave me the hood and headlights off his truck since he had new custom parts.

Then a few weeks ago Dave got tired of me not fixin the truck so he got me the core support I had been looking for for over a year!

Now the rebuild begins!!

Last monday I got to the yard and started unbolting everything off the old core support and used a spot weld cutter to get it off.

It took me over 4 hours to get it completely off. So glad I picked up the spot weld cutter.
Getting closer!

Since the front end is off and everything is so accessible I decided to get new hoses and replace the belt and the thermostat. Flushed the engine too.

Unfortunately the upper hose wont be delivered till this afternoon and they gave me the wrong thermostat. So that stopped the progress for today. :(
I have a better idea now of all the parts I still need but everything else is easy to buy. :tmc:

Looks like you've got a great start! When you put the radator suport back on be sure to square it up before tighten it down then as long as you've all of it squared up the rest should fall back in place pretty easy.

That truck was a lot worse-off than I remembered it..

I look forward to seeing the progress!
