Wonder how much they pay to put those announcements out. Nothing beats a personal wash & detail if you take your time, have the patience, will, knowledge, and time.

I usually wash mine myself. I've been thinking about having someone detail it, but knowing me that probably won't happen. :dunno:

I usually take mine through the wash, I don't like spending time to hand wash it, after all it is a truck, it's supposed to be dirty :dunno:

Yes, those automatic car washes are harmful to car or truck. The ones with the plastic brushes scratch the paint and the cloth brushes do not.

I agree with you David. The ones that only spray the vehicle work fine. I would never take one of my vehicles through one with brushes.

I agree with Darren, better off doing it yourself, automatic washes don't really do well with mud on the truck either, but if its just things like alot of dust then auto's are fine

I think it all depends on the quality of the car wash. I've went through some of those touchless washes and came out with just as much road grime and mud still on my wheels. (Generally gas station car washes) Old brush car washes used to have those course brushes that would scratch the shit outta your paint when combined with dirt and/or sand. There's a new place down the street from my house that's the kind you drive into and put your car in neutral and it has really soft brushes and works like a charm for me every time.
