I think a Harley needs to be a traditional Harley and must have a set of drag pipes. I Like the Heritage Softail Classic myself. Sweet!

If I would get a Harley I would also consider a Heritage Softail. It has a slightly better comfort for a passenger and it's not water-cooled like the V-Rod, so would not spend with cooling fluid.

My mother and father both have heritages. My mom has a 2000 pearl white model and my dad has, i think a 92 model all black. Before that they my dad had an older blue heritage and my mother had a shadow. The heritage is my favorite.

the only reason i am juggling a Vrod is because you dont see many on teh road and when you do, you KNOW its a Vrod.

but as far as handling of the softtail, Airride is the answer.

The V-Rod is maybe a kind of "riceboy's Harley" aiming to those boys who grew up with Japanese motorbikes (just like me, but I wouldn't buy a V-Rod so soon).
