Well went on a road trip today and about 3 hours in to the 5 1/2 hour drive this happened.
Not good. Let us know what it is. AFM lifter failure or what ever.
No afm on this one. Thinking spun bearing.
Yea, it does sound bad. Its hard to tell what is what on a video. I dont know much about the 5 cylinder. I am a GM guy, but know the old 350s a lot better. You going to rebuild it, or replace it?
A mechanics stethoscope should be able to help you pin point where the sound is coming from.

Where are all the mechanics at that are on this site when you need one?
Have you figured anything out yet? Just for shits and giggles, pull the pcv valve out and see if it makes a difference.
