Browsing for a car

I'm browsing for car if gas prices keep going up. It must be Chevy or Ford. My wife like Chevy Cavalier. I would also look into the Ford Focus and Fusion. I heard the Chevy Cobalt is junk. Anyone heard any issues with the newer Chevy Cavaliers, Ford Focus or Ford Fusion?

Cavaliers will be older than Cobalts.. Chevy replaced the Cavaliers with the Cobalts.. The Cobalts are now being replaced by the Cruze.. I'm not sure if the Cruze is even on the market yet..

I'm not familiar enough with the others to say much on 'em.. I just thought you might want to know you won't find "newer" Cavaliers.. or at least not newer than whatever year it was they were last produced..

Well consumer reports said the v8 camero is the most reliable. Maybe check the mpg on a camero.

Yes, the LS1 is pretty reliable but the CamAro isn't anything like a focus or a cavalier.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Fusion.

My mom just got a fusion sport and she likes it. It rides well but still gets around 25 hwy cuz of the 3.5 v6 vs the 4 banger

The camero is 19 overall mpg 2011 1ss v8. They do offer the cruze and cobalt though.
