I think in stock form the new dodges do have the GM trucks beat, but when you don't like something stock, you mod the shit out of it and that is where GM remains king.Pfffft, you have more cubic inches.... no fair.GM does have a very strong aftermarket, but they are not nearly as strong from the factory. 390 hp > 315 hp![]()

Those cubic inches are also available on every 1500 model, you don't have to select certain models/packages like you do with GM to get a 6.0/6.2.I am not a GM hater by any means, I drove GM for most of my life. I just think with the current generation trucks, Dodge did it better.

I agree. There is a very strong aftermarket for Dodge, but not nearly like GM. Tuning is one area that the Ram falls way short of GM, though. Although folks on some of the Dodge forums are getting very good results with handhelds, I am sure it is nothing like what Justin or other good custom tuners can do. I had Wheatley tune my Tahoe, and it was an amazing difference.

I am not a GM hater by any means, I drove GM for most of my life. I just think with the current generation trucks, Dodge did it better.
