GM does have a very strong aftermarket, but they are not nearly as strong from the factory. 390 hp > 315 hp
Pfffft, you have more cubic inches.... no fair. :D

Those cubic inches are also available on every 1500 model, you don't have to select certain models/packages like you do with GM to get a 6.0/6.2. :D2 I am not a GM hater by any means, I drove GM for most of my life. I just think with the current generation trucks, Dodge did it better.
Fair enough. I think in stock form the new dodges do have the GM trucks beat, but when you don't like something stock, you mod the shit out of it and that is where GM remains king.

I agree. There is a very strong aftermarket for Dodge, but not nearly like GM. Tuning is one area that the Ram falls way short of GM, though. Although folks on some of the Dodge forums are getting very good results with handhelds, I am sure it is nothing like what Justin or other good custom tuners can do. I had Wheatley tune my Tahoe, and it was an amazing difference.

Yeah, im def a GM guy... but Im going the dodge route because Ive never owned one, and would like to experience it. Plus, Its better than a ford... :jester:

Everyone Ive talked to that owns one has been happy with the newer trucks... the older dodges are a different story. Ive heard of no repeat issues with the trucks which is a good thing. The next truck I get might be a ford.. who knows....

I've got an F350 for a work truck, and so far it has been great, although it is seriously lacking in power (v10).

I think any more, most manufacturers are making great trucks, and you really can't go wrong with any of them.

Mine is a 6 speed with a heavy enclosed utility box on it, so there is no way. Unloaded, it is no power house, I have to downshift sometimes on hills or when there is a head/crosswind just to maintain highway speeds. When I stick a trailer behind it, it really struggles.
