Well I removed the chrome 6.2L from the hood and installed the black chrome. I think it looks much better. Still undecied on putting the black chrome Silverado on the tailgate. I have two Duramax black chrome if anyone is interested. $30 shipped.
I also took the Chevrolet shade that came with out 2016 suburban and tried it in the new truck and it works. Susan never used it and never will so I took it.

Other than a PCV reroute for the winter, as far as I can't tell, the 2.8 is fairly solid, as long as you don't juice up the power... Only seen one or two folks unhappy with theirs.

I added some footwell lighting. Only thing is I can't find the power source that is with the dome lights. So now what I have hooked up is to a power that comes on when I start the truck and goes off when I stop and open the door. Will post pictures soon.Any new updates to enlighten us with?
