Automatic Transmission - 88 C1500

88 C1500 2wd automatic trany with 350 motor gm crate with less than 80K. Been sitting for 2 years not started.

It was parked cause of the trany.

Twos weeks after a rebuild on trany it acts likes its in neutral/spins when pressing gas pedal when in drive/wont move.

Any ideas or suggestions on what happened to the trany.

Sounds like the parking pawl is sheered.

Yes if you have ever had a TH350 apart it's not so bad. If you haven't then I would leave it to someone else.

I thought the 700r4 were only in 4wd? This is 2wd.
