all i know is harvick pwned the shit out of busch on sunday. :jester:

 That was fwonkin' awesome. Busch called him a two-faced punk.
Busch better watch it. Harvick will poke a fist in his eye and he'll come out even funnier looking than he already is. :loser:

If Kyle and Brad ever fight, they'll probably be better looking when its over:dunno:

That reminds me of the old saying...Never wrestle with a pig (aka Busch)...You both get dirty and the pig likes it....

i guess to put my 2 cents in here. im a dale jr fan i'm also a kevin harvick fan. now then i am not a jimmie johnson fan!!! no then i'd like to have seen harvik pull it off and win the chase but fact is he didnt. he could have but fwonked up by speedin on pit road. and jr just had a bad season. jr has the ability to win the chase but bad luck and not comunicating what he needed done to get the job done on the track is his biggest problem (in my opinion) if he would just leason to his crew chef and tell him what he needs he'd do better.

no then jj yes i do not like the fact he has won 5 championships in a row but (and i hate to say it) the guy can drive and by the points system he wins. i realy cant believe noone esle can knock him off the streak but it happened. when your good your good.

I wouldn't mind him so much if it was earned. But it just leaves me with a pissed off feeling because he doesnt deserve it.

So, playing the SYSTEM that NASCAR setup, by the RULES that NASCAR setup and GAMING IT better than ANYBODY ELSE OUT THERE isn't "earning it?" He and Chad don't "deserve it" because they figured out how to play the rules better than everyone else??

They're smart enough to go "y'know, we have enough points to get in, let's test some things for the next 2, 3, 5 weeks on the track, since NASCAR won't let us go testing anymore.. so that we can use that stuff in the Chase if it works.." But, they don't "deserve" it? :rollin:

The people who say this other person or that other person would've won if it was the old rules don't seem to understand that Chad and Jimmie are racing THE RULES as much as they're racing everyone else. When it gets down to 6 or so races 'til the Chase and if they have enough of a "lock" on getting in, they experiment and use whole races for testing stuff.. If they don't "need" the extra points to get in, why earn 'em when NASCAR is just going to "reset" everything come Race 1 of the Chase..?

Would I like to see someone else win it? YES! I would've looooooooved to have seen Harvick somehow pull out the win!

But, if NASCAR was going to "fix it" so that any one driver out there could/would win it all, it dang sure wouldn't be Johnson.. It'd be Jr! They think Jr winning would fix all that ails them.. the bad economy, the cars not looking like what's on the street, cars going airborne when they slide around backwards at speed, Brad Keselowski being an ugly mofo.. You get the idea.. :jester:
well said

I get tired of seeing the same thing all the time whether it be Jimmie or Kyle or who ever it is winning week after week. I used to watch it with a passion but now that it has been Jimmie winning year after year hell sunday went and gone and I didnt even realize it was homestead.

I'm in the same boat. I remember watching the darlington race where ricky craven of all people was duking it out with kurt busch. thats what i miss. all the jimmie johnson show is killing nascar.

How can you guys say it sucks because one guy keeps winning? Every racer has the same opportunity, correct? Clearly he is better than most of the rest of them when it counts. :dunno:

What if Dale Earnhardt and Richard Petty had the chase? They would have 10+ championships. And Jimmie Johnson gets the BEST of what Hendrick has. Notice how all the other Hendrick cars ran decent but nothing spectacular, every single one of them can drive the wheels off a car but its hard when your not the focus of the entire team. Jeff Gordon had to loose his pit crew for goodness sakes. The first 26 races of the year any driver can just screw around and go for broke because hey if they rack up enough wins they are in the chase. Then they can be constiant. Alan Kulwiki, Rusty Wallace, Benny Parsons not a single one of them could have won if there was a chase involved because they didnt win tons of races but they won because they could rack top fives up week in and week out. I can't count how many times i saw Jimmie Johnson sliding to the inside wall or into something. That just doesn't cut it. FWONK THE CHASE

That's pure conjecture.

The fact is, all of these guys race under the same rules. I'm not saying the rules are great but you can't say Jimmie is a half-ass driver who's benefiting from a bad format. Seems to me he's just kicking everyone's ass when it counts. :dunno:

If he has a better team, so what? If you are winning, you probably have the best team. What's so out of place there?

It's not like you can finish 25th in every race and make the chase. You have to be consistently good to get there and then when the pressure is on, you have to compete and win.

What Jimmie has done is impressive to some point, but he and his team work to dominate the last 10 races. That's where Jimmie runs the strongest. Jimmie usually hangs around the top 10 the previous 26 races, then marches towards the top in the last 10.

Yes, Jimmie Johnson is a great driver. He's also one of the luckiest SOB's I've ever watched race also. What Jimmie is doing isn't good for the sport and I'm sure Nascar knows it. This is the monster they created and now it's biting them in the ass.

Nascar has become repetitive in not only the style of racing, but now who wins the championship every single season. Viewers and track attendance is down down down, and at this rate it won't be back up anytime soon.

Congrats to Jimmie, at this rate he's going to beat Dale Sr. and Richard Petty very soon. I wonder if Nascar will actually allow that to happen??? It will be interesting to see.
