I have a couple white infinities ten inchers I think would look real nice in the trunk of that car.

Thanks for the heads up on that site.

That was funny. I love the truck in your signature.

I really like the older ones (70s). I want red 1970 442 with black stripes and Sandra Bullock behind the wheel.

Wow. I have often wondered why people pay attention to that. There is so many other things to keep track of. Like the new tires BFG might come out with. Or the stuff edlebrock has planned for the next generation of muscle cars. Or something really important like how not to get your penis stuck in a air dryer.

That's a pretty cool car. I really didn't even realize that they made 442 in the 80's. But looking it up, it looks like a 442 was made off and on through 91.

According to what I found there was only 3000 made in 85.

I'm not trying to steer you to another site, but this site may help you out.

http://www.oldspower.com/vb/index.php

There is also another site, www.442.com that will tell just about anything you want to know about Olds. When Lou first got the 442 he had mentioned selling it and I was hoping I talked him into keeping it. But then when I had his wife on my side, and he said she tagged and insured it, I knew then 80% of that battle was won !!! Now, if he can just get her talked into a ride wo the T tops. I'd sure love to have a 442, late 60's early 70's prefferably, but big bucks for those if they are worth having. I still have all intent of making a sleeper out of one of my Mid 80's trucks with an Olds 455.

Also another tidbit about Olds history. Many people think Henry Ford invented the assembly line for auto mass production. NOPE, Wrong Answer !!! A guy by the name of Ransom Olds invented it and was the first to assemble cars on an aseembly line. Henry Ford however, did make the idea even better by being the first to use a moving conveyer belt to make the assembly line faster and more efficient.
