Yeah it worked very well it just didn't wipe off with microfibers. Next time I'll try my water magnets and see if there's a difference. It's like when you do a full wash--you should sheet off the water first before drying, otherwise it will fill up the towel in no time. I just needed something more absorbent.

sounds like i'll stick with my meguires gold class.
Gold Class is what I use, too. The difference, though, is that a regular two-bucket wash would have taken me about four times as long as this. Very efficient way to wash. It's not something I'll use every time, just when I need a wash and don't have time to do a full one.

Truck looks good! You need to take some photos of the truck when you have finished the whole thing.
Thanks! I will next time I do it. I tried this time but the combination of where I was parked and where the sun wash made all the full pictures wash out. That's why I took closer shots.

First of all, that looks really good Matt. But since you reminded me about this stuff, I decided to use it again. :) After all, I still had a bottle of it laying around.

I didn't quite feel like using it with the bucket method as the truck was rather dirty. So I ran it through a quick touchless wash first as I usually do. As expected it was still far from clean, but at least enough of the dirt was gone to use the No Rinse as a Quick Detailer. I also used this 1 Gal Mister/Sprayer I bought awhile ago. In fact, I got it specifically to use with the No Rinse stuff. Just filled up with clean water from the house (reverse osmosis/ filtered). Then added 6 oz of No Rinse.

Misted the vehicle one section at a time, wiped away with microfiber, then again with another microfiber to get it completely dry. Then proceeded to quickly clean the fender wells, wheels, and tires. Otherwise nothing else on the paint. But considering it's a black truck long overdue for a wax, I thought it looked pretty good. On Black truck... if there's an imperfection, it'll show up!

Not sure why I didn't think to use this stuff sooner. I mean, it's been on the shelf for 2 years. :) We have really hard and dirty water around here. So it's hard to wash it by hand without making it worse than it was. Using the mister/sprayer with clean water is very nice.

Nice man, it looks great. That a great idea to use the mister for the detail spray concentration--I may have to steal that. It seems like it would be easier to wipe that off than cleaning it with a wash mitt. The mitt just left too much water/ONR mix on the paint to wipe off easily with a microfiber.

Thanks. But I can't take all of the credit for the QD idea. It was on the bottle. But yeah, sticking with the microfibers made things fairly easy and quick.

Oh I know. I saw it on the bottle but wasn't sure if it would be worth it. Then again, it's a gallon jug, so I'll do some calculations sometime and see the price difference vs Meg's detail spray.

I meant that your idea was great to put it in that big spray jug.

Looks great. Thanks for the info on this product.

I'm just getting old, can't seem to take my time to clean the vehicles like they need to anymore.

No problem. This would be perfect for you, then. If it's really dirty definitely go to the self-serve and use the rinse just to blast the heavy stuff off. Then again, that's something that should be done before a normal wash.

It saves a lot of time. I actually used it again this morning. I did it all at the self-serve, though--just rinsed it off, put ~3 gallons of water in my bucket, and went to town. I didn't wipe off each panel this time---I let it sit (most "sheeted" off the truck, anyway). After I finished the whole thing I put some more change in the self-serve and used the "Spot-Free Rinse" feature. Supposedly it's more filtered than the normal rinse and will be less prone to leave water spots.

All said and done I used the ONR to wash my truck, the self-serve water just to rinse it off, and none of their soaps or brushes had to touch my paint. Successful day.

As soon as I started driving, though, all the water beaded off. I love me a good wax job. :)

Looks good. A couple of the F150 detailing guru's have used it a little, which i'm sure you have already read over there. Nice results man. I'm hoping to give mine a fast, yet observant detailed wash this weekend with the 40 degree weather we're supposed to get. Hasn't been hand washed since October :lame:

Ya get over heated from all the wiping? Same happens to me, i'm glad I dont have a jacked up/lifted truck to do because my 6' step ladder isn't the most stable one.

Nice man take some before and after pics! Yes I'm very warm-blooded. It can be 40 degrees outside and I'll be sweating after walking to class. Then again, my fat ass is so out of shape right now I breath heavy after walking a flight of stairs.

I am also glad I'm not lifted. As much as I would like to, it would just make it that much harder. I am, however, very glad that I'm so tall. Makes washing the top of the truck easy.
