But it's still funny. :jester:

I think I'm gonna fire up the gas powered washer and try it on my company car (the one that gets dirty).

Taken any pictures of Alaska yet? You should post some here for us all to check out. Not many of us have actually been up there.

Alwas use an eletric pressure water to wash the truck. Only find them useful when the truck just has some dust on it. Any sort of mud or salt and its pretty much useless. We've got this simoniz.

Would not recommend it though. We've used this model for probably 5 or so years at the farm and we've burnt out 3 of them. On a positive theyre fairly cheap but the quality wasnt great so we just got a gas pressure washer that i use on the truck. Its a 25 or 2700 psi Briggs and Straton so not nearly as powerful as your 3800 psi washer.

I will say though that a pressure washer is great for cleaning the crud off the wheels and undercarriage.

Here is what we have at work Jim. it's a black & decker 1900 psi. work pretty good for what we use it for. Washing cars sometimes but mostly just getting the big mud off and under carages. It has a place in the back to put soap or degreaser in.

UPDATE:

Ordered a new carb for my gas pressure washer off of Amazon for 33 bucks shipped. It was running poorly and the old carb had dried out gaskets, sticky needle and seat, etc. I could have rebuilt it for 10 bucks, but a brand new carb in the box for 33 bucks delivered was just too tempting.

I'll update you guys on how well it washes my company car.

Very cool. Does your gasser have the soap siphon, too? I need to fix the one on mine, it was pretty cool when that was working right.
