Thanks man, should I do some update pics and critique? :D

Do you still like it? i was wondering the other day how noticable the tracks were. but i've already made that observation :D as far i'm concerned i'd be willing to pay that for a bed cover of that caliber. if i'm gonna dump big bucks into, i want it to last the lifetime of my truck, if not longer :D

I love it! There have been no problems with it up to this point. I do get some slight water leakage near the tailgate, but that's my fault. I need to adjust two of the small blocks inside the tracks that in turn adjust how close the cover gets to the tailgate. Just been too lazy to do so, and it doesn't rain that much here. Maybe when I get some spare time on the weekend and remember.

I have no doubts that this thing will last the life of my truck. It's going to stay there, too. One of my top[functional] mods by far.

If you don't mind me asking, how much was that roll cover? That thing is sweet.
PMd earlier. :D

How much was the bed rug and how does it install Matt?
BedRug was about $350 but I can't remember where I bought it. That was the cheapest I could find it, though. It's sooo worth the money, too. It installs very easy. It's a 2-piece that zips along where the bottom of the bed meets the sides. I forget exactly how but their method of installation makes it very easy. Something like you put the whole thing in upside down and then zip it together. Then flip it inside out again and start connecting it. It's held in place with industrial-strength velcro. I liked that because we have tons of that at work so I snipped more pieces and installed it everywhere. This thing isn't moving.

I've spilled oil and who knows what back there. It's sat for days at a time and I take it to the self-serve and it rinses right out.

Sorry for the poor quality, but here's a video of it in operation. Hard to keep in focus because when the D90 is in video mode the focus is controlled manually. That was impossible to do while shooting with one hand and operating the cover with the other hand.

Quick operation of opening with the keyless entry (latch), pulling it closed every 12", shutting tailgate, etc...cool thing is that I can just lock my tailgate if I want to lock access to my bed all together.

Also, I went to show the key being used to open it, but realized that I grabbed the key to my bike lock. :loser:

That's weird. Do you mean you had the wheel in the back and it got so hot (from the sun?) that it melted the carpet fibers?
