I really want to invest in their stuff. Since i'll be detailing on the side this summer, i want the best for my money
You talking just a good solid interior and exterior cleaning/washing? Or do you mean full paint correction? If paint correction you want to pick up something stronger than Adam's SHR if you're doing this for other people. It will make the job go by much faster. If you were just doing it for your truck it would be fine. It would take longer to do, but it works great. I used it on my first detail. If it's for multiple vehicles, though, I'd recommend something else in the paint correction category.

Let me rephrase, in a way:
You always want to use the least aggressive method possible to start with...always. If you need to cut a steak why use a machete when a kitchen knife will do? That should always be the case. If you're doing cars for customers, though, you want something stronger. Next time you're walking around town look at all the cars and notice all the swirl marks. It's terrible. Adams will work, no doubt, but you will likely have to do 2-3 passes in order to achieve the same affect on the heavier swirl marks. Why waste the time, energy, and money when you can pick up something stronger to do the job.

So it depends on what you're doing. I do love Adam's lineup, though. The great thing about his SHR is that it's completely safe for beginners, so if you're new to detailing then definitely try it first.

In that case, i'll need to get something a bit stronger. 3 of our vehicles here at the house are white, our spare car is maroon, and my dad's car is red. so mine truck along with the red cars would most likely need PC. i do plan to invest in clay bar and detail spray. LOTS of detail spray. i watched the whole video series on the site so i have an idea of how to properly detail cars. Once i get the funds i will put in a big order for everything i need.

It would be easier to get everything from Adam's and see how a test section would work for the SHR/FMP (Swirl&Haze Remover and Fine Machine Polish). If it's not strong enough on the test section, jump to something else.

Hunter,

I used the Leather conditioner that I bought from steve a couple months back and that stuff is insanely awesome:drool: It made my 6yr old leather look better than new. So if that is how their other products are you will sure be impressed
