I love that body style! Definitely keep us updated.

As far as the tranny goes, what is your primary use for the truck? That would be my deciding factor.

I want it running Bad. I bought that one for $200. Only rust that I found was passenger side cab corner. Its also got power locks, windows, tilt and cruise. Tires are great. I'll wear then out then go bigger. I already got the full float 3.10 rear end for it, still looking for a D44 for the front. Just gonna put it back togther the way it was for now, then convert axles as I acquire parts. I just want it running. Might be buying another truck from oneluckyPops to convert this one to SM465 which is currently auto.

I seen the slide show why is there so much dirt on the engine was it on fire once? I was thinking maybe that or a mad old X. It's going to be a nice looking truck when done.

As far as the trans, IF ITS BUILT right, I'd go with the 700r4. A tad better first gear, and have an OD with 3.73's makes it certainly highway driveable. The T350 is stronger though, but still built right, a 700r4 will serve well and has a couple big avantages. JMO
