OK guys I just bought some 6x9 boxes for some Kenwood speakers I have now im wondering if I really have to put poly fill in them? Next im running my rear and front 4x6 speakers off my Alpine radio that says it's 45x4 and it's sounds good because im running nothing but highs im them and next im running a 2 channel bridged 202 MTX Thunder amp for one 12" Kicker comp sub which sounds great but getting back to the 6x9 speakers I have another 4 channel 404 MTX Thunder amp that I want them connected in my truck but I don't want to drown out my 4x6 speakers because this amp is rated at spec's below
Model Thunder 404
MPN Thunder404
UPC 015442240655
Key Features
Amplifier Type Multi Channels
Channels 4-Channel
Input Voltage 12.5 volt
Bridgeable Bridgable
RMS Power at 2 Ohms 70 W x 4
RMS Power at 4 Ohms 35 W x 4
How should I connect this amp im kinda new to this stuff 35x4 or what? Do you think that it's going to drown out my 4x6 speakers should I leave it as is with no 6x9 speakers any suggestions are welcome? I have all my wiring ready all I have to do is bolt the amp in place and connect it.
Thanks! Roland
For real guys does it ever sound good compare to when I had my cheap radio shack bass cannon now with no bass the radio sounds ugly. I also have my 12'' sub right smack in the middle of my back seat of my 93 ext/cab truck and if I do go with the 6x9 speakers I want to place them by the rear arm rest of back seat. Im going to add my highs are right on the money im running some MA Audio speakers up front which surprised me big times compare to some MTX speakers I had there. Help a confused member out.
