5.7 TBI-Vortec build

As all my friends know i am in the middle of a 5.7 TBI-Vortec swap i got the new engine home and in the garage finally don't ask how i wont tell you but any ways i got the intake manifold off,valve covers, exhaust manifolds more to come soon heads and water pump oil pan and more i will post pics soon but my new intake manifold came in today so should be picking it up soon can't wait most likley getting the heads clean up and check they look good but the runners look a little gummed up anyways what do youall think

ok Pics to come but i got a 97 5.7 vortec from a salvage yard for 500 bucks and it came with intake manifold wiring exhaust manifolds clutch from the old truck i am tearing it down and replacing the rod and main bearings and seals getting the heads cleaned up and putting a gm intake manifold so i can use my TBI so far have just been taking my time with it haven't run into any proublems knock on wood once i get deeper into it there will be more info and pics to come

i thought so the heads are a little dirty in the runners but they should be coming off tomrrow so i can see inside and the engine doesn't look like it was leaking so hopefully its all good inside i will take pics

ducky im just waiting on some guy to write me back he has some Vortec heads that I want to put on my 1993 F/S 5.7 truck. Now I know that you know this answer I know I will have to get a Vortec manifold for my 5.7 engine but will my TBI throttle body bolt right on to it what do I have to do? I also have my little brother that just opened up a speed shop down south looking for some for me.

as far as i know that is what its made for i am getting mine from GM dealer in town i haven't picked it up but when i do i will sure take pics
