well first thing i need to do is get the powersterring pump changed

i thought about going ahead and doing plugs an wires anyway MSD FTW

not sure what type of plugs though maybe them platniums

now another question here im new to the computer cars an stuff so if i chose to go with an msd coil pack. right off the bat whould i need any work done to the pc on the truck? whould it mess things up or be fine? i was thinking the msd but they aint cheap i know none of this stuff is

also jennabear what type of blower do you have an what was your cost of setting it up?

exhaust flowmasters is where ill go ive heard them on many 5.3s an love um

I wouldn't put MSD coil packs in, there won't be any benefit. The coils are good enough, that the after market community uses the stock coils with after market PCMs. If you did go with new coil packs, you would need to get your PCM reprogrammed.

I was running a Radix 112 on the Tahoe, and recently sold it. We have a TVS1900 on the TBSS and a Radix (soon to be TVS2300) on the Silverado SS. We are huge fans of the Magnachargers, but they do cost a pretty penny.

For spark plugs, go with the OEM AC Delco Iridium plugs. You won't gain anything by going with a different plug. Aftermarket wires also won't net you any power, since the run is so short, but they do look pretty.

Like Jenna said, the aftermarket coils are flat out useless. $600 for some ugly red coils, and no extra power.
