4L60E Transmission Rebuild Kits

Where do I find the electronics such as a wiring harness, solonoids, etc. in kit at? Is there a special kit for the check balls or are they included with the new valve body? I found the basic rebuild kits but no kits for replacing the electronics that inside the trany.

Found some parts at www.transmissionpartsusa.com but they have individually not in a set.

I've never even heard of anybody replacing all of the electronics when rebuilding a trans. Might as well just buy a new transmission. Rebuilding a trans simply means replacing the wear items.

A trans builder recommended replacing the electronics such as shift solonoids, internal wiring harness, etc.

Is this the same guy that recommended swapping 6 lugs for 8 for better braking?
