Yea you got what im saying...yes it be the same exact engine no matter what its put in-but heavy or lighter will produce diffrent results.I was speaking engine. Just engine. The 240hp is the engine rating, at the flywheel.
If you take said engine from a Continental, then put it in a Silverado, and then turn around and shove in a boat...it still has the same HP at the flywheel.
Sure, a lighter vehicle would yield a faster 1/4 time (gear ratio, etc permitting) but that is just power to weight ratio.
If the engine is untouched, nothing has been done to change the power at the flywheel.
