So, whose wonderful idea was it to put torx bolts (maybe it was a hex socket?) on the front calipers? Probably a dumbass tactic to get people to go to a dealer. The rear pads were done but the front's look oddly unworn. Probably replace them Monday or next weekend when I get the damn tool to do it.

Dont buy your brake parts from those cheap auto parts stores especially autozone. Get your brake parts from napa or carquest. Trust me I learned the hard way by going cheap. I had 94 chevy beretta and I replaced the front brakes in 2007, 2008, and now the new owner says it needs brakes again in the front (back in fall 2009). I bought the regular duralast w/ lifetime warranty too.

Torxs bolts? That sucks, but as long as they aren't rusted any. Regular 13mms will be a good replacement.

That's the plan! I'm doing the fronts at the shop, probably when the bumper is finished. They still have plenty of pad but I don't want to have the new ones sitting around for a few years waiting for these to burn up.
