I guess I better go fill my truck up soon, before it reaches $4!
I think it's been 5 weeks since I filled it last.

You might as well go this summer. Next summer, it's liable to be even higher..![]()

The Gulf CEO said part of the rising price is switching back to "MORE EXPENSIVE" "SUMMER GRADE" gasoline....
Every fall they say part of the rising price is switching to "MORE EXPENSIVE," "WINTER GRADE" gasoline...
Which is it ?????![]()

Both.
Same thing with diesel. In the summer they say the price is high because they're not producing as much fuel oil as in the winter, because demand for heating oil is low. In the winter they say the price is high because most of the production is going to heating oil. Theoretically, right now diesel in my area should be a lot cheaper than it is, due to the mild winter we've had and the lower demand for heating oil. Reserves should be very high, driving the price down. Is it? Nope!
Yeah... I kinda keep up with diesel prices...
One of my Brothers is a long distance truck driver...
He has two tanks... 120 gallons each...
His truck gets around 5MPG...
It gets a little expensive to put a couple of hundred gallons in it at almost 4 bucks a gallon for diesel...
It is not unusual at all to use 150 gallons a day...
