The biggest piss off is the AMERICAN GOV'T and their friends in the big time oil companys, are the ones CREATING the crisis in the middle east. If the US gov't would sit down and shut the fWONk up and pay attn to whats happening in their own yard instead of pissing in everybody elses, trying to line their own pockets with cash, fuel would be much cheaper.

Fuel is only what people are willing to pay for it. If it gets much more expensive you'll see a major revolt/change in peoples habits and spending. I know my motorcycle is going to be headed in for service to save me some green. Im paying over $100 to fill my truck, the bike I can fill for under $10. I'm already paying over $4 gallon so you can guess how much higher our prices will go.

Anyone else tired of the "Instability rocks the Middle East so we're going to double gas prices" thing? Media blows it way out of proportion and everyone freaks out yet the world keeps turning.

Easy now, we will start blaming Canada for cold weather.

Have at it. Its warmer here than a bunch of the rest of North america.
My previous post wasn't aimed toward the American public( ya'll) who are in no way able to change the fuel prices any more than I, rather the idiots ( elected officials) and their financial backers who dictate the prices to us.

I admit that rising fuel costs suck, but it still cracks me up to see people going nuts about fuel costs here when they have been paying highway robbery prices in Europe and some other parts of the world for years.

I quite looking at gas prices a few years ago. What's the point? My father in law is constantly searching for the cheapest price in town to fill up to save a few pennies. I cracks me up.

There isn't anything I can do about and I sure as hell am not going to let gas prices dictate the type of vehicle I drive.

It is what it is.

On a side note, I was able to steal my current truck back in '08 due to the "sky is falling" and everyone was running from trucks. I wouldn't mind another similar deal in a year or so. :)

:werd:

Why just last month in Nigeria the government tried to more than double gasoline prices and it lead to rioting in the streets and an 8 day general strike. It went from $1.51 per gallon to $3.35 per gallon overnight. The government finally backed down a little though, so the price is now $2.27 per gallon... and the army and riot police are on standby.

And let's not forget Venezuela... Those poor bastards are paying an outrageous $0.076 per fwonking gallon last time I checked (ten minutes ago).

Those poor fwonkers... :D2

That's awesome. I'll let you sell it to me at a steal as well. :D

Yeah, it took me forever to convince the wife that driving 10-15 miles out of her way to save 4 cents per gallon with an 18 gallon tank (that never goes below 1/4 before she fills it, so essentially a 13 gallon fillup) does not save any money.
