I used the coolant test stripes back in auto tech school. Coolant tested good. It starting using water back in auto school. Teacher said its normal to use little water. Now it got worse. Teacher brushed it off IMO. He didnt take in any head gasket work for us cause of sending heads to have them checked.

Your teacher needs to find an area he is more skilled in. Perhaps the food industry.

I think Dave said he was now working job placement for Auto Mechanics/Culinary School.

The only that I can tell is the strong water smell coming out of the exhaust. Its pretty strong when the truck is running.

Dave make sure you check the holes in the corner of your bed closest to the cab. They might be stopped up. This may be the reason as to why you are getting the water smell.
