I installed the new handles and caps last night, along with giving it its first hand wash since early October '10. looks fantastic! I'll post the pics tomorrow from yesterday. I was too exhausted last night. Poor excuse I know

I've always wanted that exact look, My 06 F-150 is DTR as well and I think the DTR Ford lettering really stands out. My emblems now have the infamous de-lamination bubbles and stuff in them... Looks horrible.

any chance you can get a "spare set" of those sweet emblems and drop them in the mail to me

Thanks man, I'm grateful to have had them made. Just need to paint the outer portions on the emblem black to match.

You could try what I was going to attempt and paint your flaked one.

Thanks man! Yes thats a definite plus, thats why I had the dealership body shop do them since they would be the closest to getting it to am OEM look. The orange peel just about matches the truck's 6yr old paint, and the high gloss clear is as fine as the truck's. Definitely an OEM quality & style mod
