Some Chrysler products will not engage the ignition unless the ECM picks up a signal from the fuel pump. If that's the case, you might not get any spark using the old "check a plug wire" method if the pump is dead.

Or at least that's what they said the more expensive part of coarse. My son has a friend that works at this dealership well he said they say it's the most expensive part when it's not and the charge them for it when it can be just a small part. It's hard to trust people nowadays.:dunno:

That is true^^^. I took it to the dealer ship I worked at and the veteran tech that still worked there wouldnt BS me espeacially sense I was over his shoulder and knew what he was doing.

So sometimes it pays to know people.:D
