Yeah my wife calls me at work first thing in the morning and says "There's water running out of the wall". I'm like, WHAT!

I had to talk her through getting the water turned off to the house. This was a Wednesday morning so I told her to call a plumber. None of them could get to us until Monday.
So I hopped in the truck and drove 300 miles back home and swapped the heater. Tore out the old rock and cleaned up the mess. What a weekend.

I had to move the whole project truck mess out of the way to get to the heater. Shit that you don't really plan for.:(

 It's funny but it's not:( and trying to describe, over the phone, how to turn the water off......especially if there's any other valves nearby

Every homeowner has to experience this at least once :)

Long drive knowing what's on the other end :(

No progress, progress report. :D

Haven't had time to even touch the thing, our show is finally behind us and it went better than we could have imagined. We got contacted by a little TV show, Fast and Loud, to attend the show. They built a truck to be revealed at the show. Film crews, the monkeys and a damn cool '49 Chevy truck was built just for our show to bring out to the public. The episode will air when their next season starts. Which should start in late August this year.

Had 2500 vehicles show up to register and actually had to stop taking in vehicles because the grounds were gridlocked! A good problem to have I guess but it was stressful as hell. Tons of show coverage on the old interwebs so if you have nothing better to do search Lone Star Throwdown 2016 and check it out.

Work is crazy right now and I probably won't have any time to tinker on the project until mid May. Oh well.
