Yep and even the lighter weight stuff will be heavy. I'd estimate it would take 100-150 sq ft (maybe more) to put 2 layers over everything. That will probably run between 75-100 lbs.

Not exact, but close enough to give you an idea. When it's all in the same box you realize how heavy it is.

Little update. I'm getting paid tomorrow so I'm starting to pick and choose everything.


I know I said I might switch to single din and go active, but I think I'm staying with a passive setup for now. I don't have the time (nor the audio know-how) to go active. KISS. I'm not holding back this time--I don't want to have to redo this again.



Here's what I'm leaning towards right now:

Head Unit: Pioneer AVIC-Z110BT

Subwoofers:
2x10" JL Audio 10W3v3

Sub Box:
Fox Acoustic Custom-Built

Still trying to decide if I want to replace the components and amp or not. Also working on finding a good mono amp for the subs.

Dbl post. Was looking and this Kenwood amp looks like a great deal, but then again specs mean nothing. May be worth a shot for the price.
