Sweet! More money for gas!![]()

And as the guy at the shop was recharging it, he said my condensor was too hot. He checked my fan clutch and confirmed that it was bad. Or at least going bad, because it wasn't catching all the time. He kept trying to get me to pay him 200 bucks to put a new fan clutch on it saying he couldn't fill it till the condensor cooled down. I explained to him that no way I was putting a new fan clutch on there when I have a set of E fans that I will be installing VERY soon. We talked for a few minutes about it, then I asked him if he had a water hose nearby. He did, so I suggested we hose down the condensor to cool it off. We did and BINGO!! That dropped the temps and line pressure immediately so it took the full 3 lbs. of freon into the lines. Now its blowing ice cd again and I couldn't be any happier. Scratch that, I will be happier when I get my electric fans installed.
