The "mud and shit" he manetioned would only happen if there was moisture in the system. It doesn't look bad, but it would be nice to know how much total oil is in your system at the moment. Too much oil causes as many problems as too little. I would flush out every single component of that system, especially the condensor and evap

I hate doing mechanic work. :facepalm:

Like I mentioned earlier in the thread, I found out that my water pump was seeping coolant from the weep hole. I just kept putting it of until I got the compressor, because I knew it would be 10 times easier to get the compressor off if I did it while I had the water pump off. So I got the fan and shroud off, and the water pump. This is now all the room I have to get at the motherfwonking compressor.

Now I am covering the end of each line with some aluminum foil as i disconnect each one in order to keep any debris from getting into the line as I am working.

Old vs. new. Both compressors are identical in every way. The only difference is that the old one says made in Japan, and the new one says Made in the U.S.A.

Got it all buttoned up now. Compressor is on, drier is on, new orifice tube and all new O rings. :thumbs: Now I just have to bolt on the new water pump and tomorrow I will go get this puppy vacuumed and charged up with 134.
