0-60 vid and a sad story

I just sold a 95 Trans super cheap not long ago since 95 Trans only fit 95 models. Just had mine rebuilt for $950.00 just this week.

Lost OD last night


I went and spoke with my trans shop today and am crunching numbers...for a built 60e/stall installed I'm looking at $3,177.78. A good bit of that is things such as AN fittings and hose, trans cooler, flexplate, and crank bolts.

I'm going to see what the cost of a built 60e is from another builder and see what I'm going to do...

I'd definitely go with a reputable builder.... I have seen far too many horror stories of "I have a local builder and he build a ton of sick race trannys and he is going to build me a sick 60e" and then the trans goes out in 2 months.

The one I haven't gotten a quote from yet is the one I know is a reputable builder, I got the other quote from the hands down best trans shop around here but don't know about their built trans. They do stand behind their warranties though.

I did a quick google search and there are actually alot of diesel guys that get their stuff built there.

I think I'll have him put it in no matter what though, don't have the time to mess with it really. If I run into a problem I'm stuck, if they run into a problem they're able to work on it again the next day.
