not bad. im pretty sure its the switch since when you roll up the dimmer to turn on the interior lights it works sometimes and most often it doesnt or maybe a flicker. need to pull the panel and check the wires first otherwise ill take you up on that one scotty

the areas your testing them is also alot more intense than here i might give em a try
Havent done anything but an oil change and the nav headunit since we got it. in june. its due for another oil change also so think im gonna make a sunday out of it.
keep the suggestions rolling.
T will check the fluids and the fuel filter for sure.
So what do you gm boys suggest for the 5.3? its about to hit 97K and its got a funny idle to it.
im thinking some new plugs and some fuel injector cleaner.... but what else?
might check to make sure its not throwing any codes tonight with my edge insight from the truck

no reason to go back with stock pistons at this point with it though. id highly doubt someone building this one wouldnt go with upgraded pistons and rods with it torn down for machining.

yup block would need to be extensively cleaned then bored out and new pistons for sure. maybe if now one buys it i might tear it down even more and start that process... till then itll sit

we all know the truck blew the HG's, oil cooler and egr cooler which means water everywhere. but i now know this thing sat for a while. cylinder walls need some work which is why im glad i went with using it as parts and not for my build.

Heads are off the parts motor and on the way to be machined as long as they pass being magnafluxed. Core injectors from parts motor are boxed up and ready to be shipped out also. have some good pics from the tear down coming shortly
