Like Jim said, how comfortable are you with welding? To be honest unless you're a professional fabricator I wouldn't feel comfortable with it. We're talking about how your kids seat secures to the vehicle, imagine what one weak weld would do if the vehicle were in an accident. If you feel...
I can't help you much other than saying it sounds like a very difficult task. I had a bench in my Yukon so I'm not familiar with the captains chairs but the second row bolted down to the floor at the same height as the drivers seats with a deep floor pan. The third row latches down about even...
Somehow I lost track of this thread. Looks great Cody. I paid 425 for mine over the rails when I bought the truck. I know it's not actual Linex brand but is very similar (pretty hard like linex rather than the rubbery somewhat soft feeling of Rhino). It has the same lifetime warranty too. Best...
Unless you really really know what you're doing I would stay away from a rotary. Burned paint and holograms (shouldn't be too bad with white) are the major reason. Most professional detailers use a DA polisher for the final step to remove any holograms they put in with the rotary while...
Looks good man. Like the others mentioned, get good at it and sell the hell out of it. The going rate is right around $60 for a pair that should take 1- 1 1/2 hrs.
The one I posted was just an example. Normally we do this to our klein spud crescents. The biggest one they make has a 1 1/2" opening and we typically need more. We almost always use spuds rather than standard crescents

Just the passenger side of the bed is new. The new 4x4 sticker on the quote was almost $40 so I asked if we could call it even if they left that one off and took the other one off. Now just need to get the tailgate debadged and I will be good. I kind of like the silverado on the doors. Repaired...
Ever had a nut that was just barely too big for your crescent wrench? Here's a quick how to for anyone that needs to know how to make your crescent open further.
Things you will need
Adjustable wrench to be modified
Flat head screw driver
Grinder
Your favorite penetrating oil is a nice touch as...
I wish I would have been a little more patient when shopping. About a month after I bought mine I was at the ford dealer and was able to haggle them down to almost the same price I paid for mine for a 2010 F350 reg cab long bed dually with a few more options than I have. Now I'm looking for ways...
That's crazy that these plugs are so bad, you would think that in a difficult time like this for manufacturers they would want to do right by their customers and at least foot the bill for their faulty design.
I am waiting for one of the Hemi owners on this site to chime in about changing...
FWIW Star is Yamaha's cruiser line, not separate at all just anything that's not a crotch rocket falls under the star name. Some ok looking bikes there but we apparently have very different riding positions and you said you only took pics of bikes that had similar riding position to yours. I...
Stopped by the shop today to see how it was coming along, it was up at another shop getting the bedliner resprayed so it should be done tomorrow, down side is I work a 24 hour shift tomorrow so it will be Thursday at best but leaning towards picking it up Friday or Sat. I will get some pictures...
The gassers are definitely cheaper to repair but the torque difference in the diesel is more than noticeable. I drove for miller, had a really cool guy on the bud route that mirrored my route so we would go together and help each other out most of the day. He had a diesel in the same truck as me...
Price on that black OBS is about double what I'd be willing to go on it. I'm with daddy, even if you can't spend any more you should look at trucks that are up to 15 or 16k. 15 is a nice round number when listing something for sale, you could probably still talk them down to 13ish but hitting...
When I was delivering beer we had a few of those with the gassers, not bad trucks but they certainly were dogs. Should suit you pretty well and the price is right for what you got

I have been looking at those mirrors for my truck and a new set of non power mirrors runs 130-150. Between the time and cost of parts to fix it I would hold out for better ones unless you can get them down to 20ish
