  • Yeah, probably so. I like the layout here. We can say scrapping, Hummer, jacking without it looking like ********* . I like the addition of the Gun Talk forum too. And I don't have a choice anyway since several have the left the other place. I did not even realize you had left until about a week after when I got a 14bolt 10.25 rear end for FREE. When the funds get right, I want to get a Dt Locker in it and will be looking you up.
Depending on the wheel... anyway... My Blazer, most 17" aluminum rims are the same weight as the stockers... If not lighter... However, 30x9.5" R15 BFG All-Terrains are 7lbs heavier per tire.

Generally, when you increase rim size, you decrease tire size, so it all evens itself out...
I am not a fan of increasing wheel sizes, unless its to fit larger brakes. Wheels weigh A LOT more then tires so increasing them even one size requires a lot of addition energy to make them start to rotate (fuel) and more energy to stop (brakes) there rotation. Plus, I love the look of the wheels you already have on it.
You'll do great Clancy, they made a good choice with you.
I'm doing ok. Been working A LOT so I havent been online much lately. Got lots of things to do before the snow starts flying. Never enough hours in the day it seems. Hows life treating you?
Cool Clancy have a nice Vacation. I will be out of pocket the week you get back, we are taking our ship to the shipyard in Mobile Alabama. Due in there on the 21st of October. Enjoy your time with the family brother.
