Its a 300Litre tank, plus IF I go on a long trip I can always pack a 20lb bottle with a cheater hose to get me the extra distance....besides its supposed to get a duramax anyways. :D2

So it's OK. But if you throw a Duramax into it I'd recommend you to use a plastic fuel tank instead of the sheetmetal ones.

Haven`t really thought about the tanks yet for the duramax, but maybe it would be pretty easy to convert the propane tank.....:dunno:

Looks great, but the LPG-only part still worries me. Clancy, if you really buy it, I'd recommend you to adapt at least a small gasoline tank to provide a limp-home mode.

Since it's LPG only, it should run pretty good... The reason most LPG conversions suck is because they're dual fuel...

You can either have it run good on LPG or run good on gas...
Or you can have it run on either.... But it won't be good

I was considering a setup similar to the one used in the European Opel Zafira, which has some dedicated-CNG and LPG versions which actually retain a small jug to carry some gasoline to provide a limp-home mode, while the engine is actually optimized to the gaseous fuel and runs a lower output with the gasoline  altough it doesn't really go bad while running on gasoline. A similar setup is used in Brazilian dedicated-ethanol and flexfuel cars to improve cold-start ability.

Believe me, I may have more experience with alternative fuels than many engineers at the Big Three, and way more experience than the EPA hipsters :dan:
