They want to keep the truck and just have it fixed. A girl swerved over and hit my moms truck and the car she was driving didn't have insurance. Her car that she wasn't driving has insurance. We are trying to see if her insurance from her other car will cover it.
I thought any insurance you have in your name covers anything you hit no matter what car you are driving....

I have State Farm and have asked about rental car insurance. They told me that I am covered if I am driving a rental car, with the insurance from my truck. But technically if my truck was driven and wrecked, while I was out of town and driving the rental, the truck wouldn't be covered.
The girl was actually driving her boyfriends truck that didn't have insurance.
That's odd.
