Yep... Chrysler had it starting in 1956...on the left side of the dash...
Edsel had push buttons in the center of the steering wheel .. starting in1957.

I put a B&W hitch in one today at work but it didnt have that gear salector? It was a desiel. Maybe it was a new 2012?

The 13's won't be out till this fall, probably late fall for the HD models.

The transmissions have a whole new controller: a rotary dial on the instrument panel. P-R-N-D will be selected with the dial; forward gears will be chosen via buttons on the face of the steering wheel. The 4WD actuation is now relegated to buttons under the trans dial.

This rotary dial would look more suitable in a clothes washing machine

Unfortunately nowadays even the best-looking cars and trucks are getting its interior trim more and more looking like home appliances

This has got to be the most gaudy overdone interior in the truck industry. For being "all new", it sure looks the same, and that two tone brown just doesn't do it for me.

Yet, the regular old ST interior trim version of the Ram is one of the best looking, most rugged, truck like interiors in the business.

It has to be the worst interior I have ever seen in any vehicle.

Oh wow, that King Ranch interior is bad. Just as gaudy and over done as the gussied up Ram, but cheap looking too.

Yeah. Im not too sure about that two color thing. They could have at least found colors that didn;t clash.
