Information is starting to come out about the 2013 refresh of Ram 1500 pickups. It seems like there are going to be some fairly significant changes, some good and some not so good (IMHO). Some of the notable changes are:

Appearance refresh inside and out
8 speed auto available with Pentastar v6 (with 305 hp) AND HEMI (late availability)
Stronger/stiffer frame
Air suspension option
Electric power steering
Aerodynamic improvements (with things like active grille louvers, etc)
Standard 3.5" EVIC with larger 7" screen version in some models
Availability of 8.4" touch screen U Connect system

There are plenty others, but I will just post the link and you can sort them out.

The air suspension option sounds pretty cool but not if you plan to throw a lift kit or lowering kit on one.

I am not sure what to think of the rotary knob control for the 8 speed transmission. P R N D on a dash knob, then buttons on the steering wheel for manual shifting......seems a little odd to me. :dunno:

These trucks, all of them, are starting to become clusterfucks of technology. There's just too much stuff for a lot of it not to break/go wrong, IMO. I don't mind a few amenities, but damn.
