The drivers door latch is all fWONked up.

How did that happen? :ohnoes:

The striker started flexing and cracked the metal around it. I guess over the years of closing the door, the metal just finally flexed so much that it cracked. I have seen this same exact issue on damn near every Blazer and Jimmy I see in the junkyards too. :dunno:

Time to cut out a rectangle from a good one and weld it in. No amount of patching that one will fix it! Pretty easy fix though.

UPDATE: I still have not done shit to this truck. I tried to get the title in my name but there is some paperwork the DMV wants signed by the previous owner ( my sister in law) which she refuses to do because my brother and I still have beef over the loan I co-signed for that he defaulted on.

I knew that was going to pop back up again.

That's a crappy situation... We have internal notary department. So we don't have many title issues... :jester:

Yep. Loaning money or co-signing will destroy a relationship. I sure the **** learned my lesson there.

Was the blazer suppose to be some type of collateral?

No, they actually gave it to me a few years ago. But they never could find the title. Shortly after they gave me the title is when our relationship went sour over the unpaid loan. So I have the title, she already signed it too. But the DMV eants it notarized, and they want an "Act of donation" form also signed by her and notarized. I explained my situation, plus the fact that we live 5in hours apart. And they flat out said "oh well, I guess you have a little problem then. Come back when you get that filled out and notarized."

Dude, send it to me I will notarize that junk.... Too bad we live in different states... ha

I understand why things work the way they do and when I lived in Ohio the buyer and seller had to go to the bank and do all the title work with notary... Here, as long as it is signed we can get it notarized.
