I have seen multiple cars make well over 1000hp running cats. There is not a single valid reason not to run them.

It's not just global warming, Cory, it's also about carcinogens. Not sure if you've ever had someone die of cancer but I have and so have a lot of my friends. If I can keep from knowingly dumping more of that shit into the air when it's not necessary, I will.
It's unfortunate that not running cats has somehow become a status symbol for tough guys who dare not to conform to the man.
