They are good for messing up your mass air flow sensor.. went through 3 of them

You either bought a cheap one or installed it poorly. It should have no effect on your MAF

Its very easy to clean them. I had the same issue with mine. I was gonna do a write up on it at some point. Pull the cotton off the end of a q-tip so it is still attached but very loose. Then clean the sensor where the air flows over it. Works great.

Here's a video of my Toyota's V6 with a CAI. I like the way it sounds!

I don't really feel any power increase though :D

Sorry... but it is physically impossible for a CAI to add low end torque. Any gain to be had would be at higher airflow levels.

School us here Jenna. I've seen a lot of "claims" about aftermarket intake systems, but all of the independent testing I have seen didn't find the miracle. Manufacturer's dyno results always seem to "see" an improvement... but they are selling the stuff.

What do you think?

Sure, you might get a few ponies up in the rpm range and it might sound cool but not enough to justify the cost unless you put the pedal to the floor everytime you drive and in that case just save your money for when you break shiz.
