i want 2 tourqe wrenches nothing fancy but also not a "made in china" product

any one of you guys tried a brand and liked it?

3/8 should be from 10ft/lbs and more and the 1/2 should be up to 250ft/lbs

any recomendations?

Faisal, there is a German company called Rahsol that makes some really good torque wrenches. They would probably be your best bet since you are across the pond from us.

I have been using their stuff for over 15 years and have never had a failure. One of my biggest wrenches is routinely used to torque some nuts to 1000Nm.

google: Rahsol Dremometer

I have a blue point 3/8" and a Snap-on 3/4" and used to have a craftsman 1/2". All work well, but if its something you'll use on a regular basis invest a little extra and get a good quality one.

 Sorry buddy, I thought they would be cheaper for you over there. The Craftsman wrenches are great and very reliable. I have several of them and have yet to have a failure.
