Read the ad up to where it said it has a 350...then I left :(

I don't see why that is such a bad thing. The truck is gorgeous and back in the day when that truck was made that was plenty of power.

I mean a lot of people would think its silly to have a lifted Burb with only a 350 and 10 bolt rear. But it does just fine...

Today our work loads have increased and so have the abilities of today's trucks...

If you went back in the past and told a GM Engineer of that day that one day there will be trucks with almost 400 hp and still get almost 20 mpgs on the highway.. They would have told you it was impossible...

Those are just my thoughts in it though.

Those old 350s had great torque. They had more grunt than a lot of modern V8s. The emphasis was not on a horsepower war then. Many V8s were under-rated to keep them off of the insurance company radar.

I had a 350 in all of my 90s trucks and I pulled a heavy boad a shitload of miles. They did great.

My 99 3500 Dump truck TD is kinda pathetic in comparing the 350 gas. There is not a lot of difference and the older non-turbo motors were a joke. But I have been loaded in the bed and trailer up to 25k and I feel safer in that than some bigger trucks I have driven.

It's a BOSS!

:werd:

The 350 had instant torque. Something you don't see in many modern engines.

I miss my old 350 trucks. Man I could turn tires into instant smoke in those trucks... they sounded better with custom exhaust too. As good as the LS series engines are, they will never outdo the old 350 in my book.

I will forever miss my old 94 Silverado! It was the best sounding truck I ever owned and it pulled my boat all over Texas.
