Good to hear they are taking care of you.
On a side note:
Just want to make sure everyone knows this so that if the failure was due to the fluid not meeting specification then it might be covered under AMSOIL's warranty. Always, always, always get a sample and make sure you take it or see it being taken. Then send it off for analysis to who every you want to analyze it.
In this case it would still have been a good idea to grab a sample. I'm not familiar with Royal Purple and what they warrant but if it was the lubricants fault it doesn't hurt to have an analysis to prove otherwise.
It is my understanding that TT doesn't want synthetics to be used. I contacted AMSOIL on this issue and they informed me that the use of AMSOIL in a TT is fine that it would not cause problems. This being known if you do have a TT and are running AMSOIL all is well. I'm sure if there was an issue AMSOIL would not recommend their fluid, just like AutoTrakII, AMSOIL does not make a fluid for this application and so they do not recommend any of their fluids for its use.
I hope I didn't confuse anyone, just trying to help out and keep everyone informed.
