Not bad huh Dave :D

Just took the Burb down the road to 7/11 for cigs..coming back I stepped on it a little and man did it take off, noticabley more power and acceleration. This is turning out to be a very good thing

Sweet Gary, :)

I guess new injectors and controller make a difference. Now to keep them clean. :)

OK,so whatcha got? :D Same stuff I put in my Burb or something else?

Just run fuel from a high turn over station, one that gets refueled often and every now and then a treatment of PI will help keep things clean from the valves back. :)

Were you able to look down the intake runners and look at the tops of the valves? If so how did they look?

Good to hear it's working fine. That bottom intake is the same damn plastic as the top, at least it was on my '99. :dunno:

I burn Chevron in my Burb,I'll see if I can get her to burn it also. However she does use use gas from a high volume station so it's prolly always fresh.Never thought of looking down the runners :dunno:

Definitely aluminum on Linda's Burb,yours was plastic?go figure...:dunno:

Take a look at the secong to the last pic, you'll see it has a machined surface where the plenum bolts to.

The bottom should be aluminum which is also why there was such a problem with the intake manifold gaskets, being in contact with the iron heads and aluminum intake.

At least it's lighter than the marine intake! That's got an iron base and an aluminum upper. I've heard there is a HUGE difference.
