He isn't going to get 6500 from me out of it. I just thought if I could pick it up for cheap it won't be a bad deal.



Is 250000 on there newer turbo diesels a lot? I'm new to diesel trucks, someone educate me. I'd rather have a little newer one but I don't want to spend alot.

250k is high on any truck. I dont care what anyone says. You can get more miles out of diesels but stuff still wears out.

I doubt youll be happy with that old a truck and the fact its a regular cab

I actually like old trucks. Much cheaper and easier to work on compared to all this computer and electronically run new stuff. I am not sure I want a regular cab though.

Oh i totally agree on the easier to fix part. but with it being that old there might be ALOT that needs replacing:ohnoes:

At the same time it might not need a thing. There is not much to those trucks. The weakest link is the TTB front end. Swap it for a D60 and you will be golden like a shower. :thumbs:

That could be true. From the pictures the guy has sent me though, I feel, like this thing had been taken care of. The only rust on it is the bolts holding the mirrors on. That's hard to find around here.
