People may start realizing that a V8 is not the only means of getting from point A to point B. I can't believe that full size trucks are still the number one sellers in the US with gas approaching 4 bucks. :dunno:

Unless they are gonna make a 4 banger Suburban that can tow as much as mine can, then I will still keep my Burban. I may get something else as a daily driver, but I would still keep my Burban.

Fact is the vast majority of truck owners never use them to tow anything and rarely if ever haul anything.

They are cars.

At some point we simply have to own up to the fact that driving something that is getting 14 mpg isn't terribly bright... and sure as hell won't ever help us reduce our dependency on foreign oil.

I will be keeping mine. But we also have a 4 cylinder car.

I sold mine and I actually used it as a truck, but I didn't have much choice. I miss it everyday though.

I don't see many of us losing our trucks... but I'll admit we drive the Accord a lot more than the truck because almost 30 mpg is cool.

Yeah.. Maybe folks will be a little more sane in how far they swing from one extreme to the other during this fuel price spike... :dunno:
