Looks good at first I was thinking it was a ext/cab and I was wondering is he running the antenna wire though the hole then I seen the picture of your truck being a single cab. I have been wanting to install my CB for ever just yesterday my CB clips came in to hang my mic to the CB. I bought five mic holders on ebay for $5.00 with free shipping I seen some mic holders that one attaches to one's mirror you might look into it I also seen some seller having PA speakers that have talk back and one can use them inside or outside ones truck. I want to install one in the wifes SUV I want to see if I can pick up radars on the road with my radar detector before I hear a truck giving one a warning. Both attenna's came out good good job and your CB is much better than my Midland and last your truck is well taken care of very nice looking. Keep on truckin........

Nice job on the CB & antenna mounts

Love your truck too  We had two 2500 six lug trucks where I retired from ...much more capable of carrying heavier loads than a 1500 & almost that of an eight lug 2500,wouldn't mind having one...especially a 4x4 :D

Good call on the 3 footers. I regret getting 4 footers.

bite your tongue

No!

When I take my truck in the woods they hit everything. On top of that my truck is to tall for any drivethrews with the 4 footers. That includes ATMS and Banks.

waaaaa. my truck is taller and i have a 4ft firestik and yea it hits stuff but its just fine after haha.

but the 4ft is the best for reception where you and i have ours mounted

I know. They would get swinging and hit my headache rack. That annoyed the crap out of me. I have them mounted on the outside of the rack now so it should be better.
